After receiving hundreds of e-mails over the past few years, I have decided to put together this page with the hopes of answering your questions about myself, and my work.  Here you will find the most asked questions of J. D. Willd. I do my best to answer every e-mail I receive personally, but I have to admit that sometimes it gets a little hard between work, and the lack of free time. So, after great thought, I decided to share this page with you, enjoy.

Q 1. How many books have you written so far?

A. To date, I have written around thirty-five books.

Q 2. How many books of poetry are you going to write?

A. Right now, I'm working on my fourth. Although I cannot say for sure that this will be the last one, I do not plan to write more.

Q. 3. Is writing a novel easier than writing poetry?

A. Yes, when I sit down to write a novel I know up front that I have weeks, and maybe even months, of hard work ahead of me, but when I write a collection of poems I question myself long after the project ends wondering if I could have done a better job. That doesn't really happen when I write a novel, because I know that I put my heart and soul into my work every time.

Q. 4. Did you have a hard time talking about your mother while you were promoting "Angel"?

A. Yes, anytime I had to talk about my mother I had to fight back the tears. I loved her more than I could ever express with words.

Q. 5. How much do you date, and are you involved with anyone?

A. I don't really have the time for dating, and relationships are very personal so I'm going to keep that answer to myself.

Q. 6. What does your family think about you being an author and poet?

A. My family has always very supportive of my work, and I love them for it. However, my mother, and son were always my number one fans, and my son still is.

A. That is a great question, but at this time I am just too busy with the books of poetry.

Q. 9. Who is your favorite author and why?

A. I love many writers for many reasons, but if I had to chose one, I would have to say Anne Rice. Because, like myself she writes what she feels. I loved the vampire chronicles, the Mayfair witches, but I have to say, The Christ the Lord series has been wonderful too. I find myself falling in love with her christen fiction a little more with each book.

Q. 10. Will you sign my book if I mail it to you?

A. Right now, I am not able to except books from my fans. However, I do my best to make sure I let you know where I will be anytime I'm going to be signing books. Although I'm sure that this answer will upset some people and for that I'm very sorry. Maybe I will be able to change my policy in the near future.
